Wellbeing

For students, parents and staff at Livingstone Primary we recognise the importance of positive well being and mental health. Well being is central to our daily practice where emotional literacy and resilience is taught across the school through our embedded PHSE delivery  and central to our school values.

Across the school site we have a variety of calm spaces that are used for a range of interventions. We have a committed nurture team that comprises the SENDCO, Family support worker, Pupil Premium Champion and Forest school/nurture lead HLTA.

A member of the school governing body meets with staff regularly.

We have a close relationship with the Mental Health Team hub as well as the school nursing team.

If you have concerns about your child's mental health please contact a member of the nurture team via the SENDCo email: kgoodwin@livingstoneprimary.co.uk

Please see below for a variety of useful websites and contact information.

This year we are working with the 'Making Me' charity who have delivered assemblies to the whole school and a variety of workshops across KS2. A parent workshop is planned later this year. You can find out more about them here...

Staff well being

A staff wellbeing team meets regularly to review support in place in and around school. There are currently 2 trained mental health first aiders and one senior level mental health lead across the school.
