We are doing so well with our learning in class and have made lots of new friends. 

This week we are continuing our topic of Who Am I? and this week are focussing on the topic of Diwali and Room on the Broom. 

In Maths we will be learning about Circles and trangles, looking at how to sort identify them in our environment. 

We will be continuing our daily phonics sessions and learning the next set of sounds o,c,k.

Reminders 

Children come to school in their P.E kits every MONDAY and TUESDAY.

Reading books are changed every Tuesday and Friday.

Bring a school book bag everyday and check this when you are at home.

Please read with your child everyday and sign their diary.

Children may bring a water bottle to school (but should only bring plain water).

Please send a spare set of named uniform and underwear for your child to keep in school.

 

Please sign your child's reading diary every time they share a book with you at home. Books will be changed every Tuesday and Friday. 

They will receive a sticker on their card every time they read at home and they will then receive prizes for the cards they complete!

Please also help us to help the children by reinforcing the sounds being taught at school. Phonics is the method by which we teach reading and writing. Here are some videos which demonstrate the correct pronunciations.
